Want bacon done evenly every time and without the messy splatter? You'll
love the following clean process for its consistent results.

Preheat the oven at 400 degrees. Put a layer of aluminum foil on a metal pan,
like a pizza pan.

Lay your bacon slices on the foil (for sandwiches cut them in half first). When
the oven is done heating, put the pan in the oven for 17 minutes.

After 17 minutes, remove the pan from the oven, and blot the bacon slices on a
paper towel. Then pour the bacon fat into a refrigerator container if saving it,
and discard used foil. If you were careful, the pan is still clean.

You may need to vary the time to account for differences in ovens or types and
brands of bacon, but then use the same process each time you cook bacon.
