my maternal Nana.
Sift Together:
4 cups of flour
1 teaspoon of baking soda
2 tablespoons of baking powder
2 cups of sugar

Cut in:
1/3 cup of butter

Combine & Add:
1 cup of evaporated milk
1 tablespoon of vinegar
2 eggs, beaten
Knead a portion of the dough on a floured board, and form into a circle about 6
inches in diameter when flattened with the palm of your hand. Cut diagonally into
triangles. Cook on a griddle, slowly to cook through to the center. Turn them to
brown on both sides.

Optional: Sprinkle with confectioner's or cinnamon sugar.
