1 1/4-pound stick of butter
1/2 cup of pecans or walnuts, chopped
Pinch of salt
Cut into crumbs, put in a pan and bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.

Guard Cat on Duty
Second Layer
1 cup of confectioners sugar
1 8-ounce package of cream cheese
Cool Whip, half of a 9-ounce container
Beat together and spread on top of crumbs after they cool.
Top Layer
2 boxes of lemon instant pudding mix
3 cups of milk
Mix to make pudding and spread on top of the second layer.
Then spread the remaining cool whip on top.
