A German Dish
1 1/2 pounds of ground beef
1/2 pound of ground pork
1/2 cup of finely chopped onion
1 cup of applesauce
1 cup of bread crumbs
3 tablespoons of ketchup
1 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly oil a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.

In a large bowl, combine all ingredients, and mix well. Place the meatloaf
mixture in the prepared pan. Bake for 1 1/2 hours.

Let cool 10-15 minutes. Turn loaf out of the pan. Slice and serve.
