Marinade a 2-pound London Broil cut of beef as follows.

Mix a
standard or other marinade in a glass dish.

Score the meat with a crossed pattern to help the marinade penetrate. Place
the meat in the marinade, and flip it a couple of times to coat both sides.

Cover the dish and refrigerate for 6 to 24 hours, flipping the meat every few
hours to keep both sides marinating.

Drain and pat the meat almost dry before cooking. Grill or broil at high heat,
turning often.
