This uses your favorite bread.
4 slices of your favorite bread
(that might be getting dry or stale)
1/2 cup of melted butter (or olive oil)
A big pinch of grated Parmesan cheese
A big pinch of garlic powder
A big pinch of salt
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Remove crusts from the bread slices.

Brush the bread on both sides with melted butter. Cut bread slices into small
cubes. Sprinkle the seasonings.

Arrange the cubes on an ungreased cookie sheet, and bake at 350 degrees for
15 minutes or until browned.

Let the croutons cool, and store them in a covered container or plastic bag.
Serve in soups or salads. Makes about 12 servings.
