A traditional fruit salad that goes
great with a Thanksgiving turkey
or other family gathering meal.
1 can of bartlett pear halves
1 cup of cream cheese
1/4 cup of chopped pecans
2 packages of lime Jell-O mix
1 teaspoon of vinegar
A pinch of salt
Drain the pears. Mix the cream cheese with the chopped pecans.
Spoon the mixture in the hallowed out pears. Place the pears filling
side down in an oblong glass pan.

Mix the Jell-O with some vinegar and a pinch of salt to cut the
sweetness a bit. Pour the Jell-O mixure over the pears.
Refrigerate until the Jell-O sets. Cut in squares and serve over
lettuce leaves.
