Combine all ingredients in a heavy non-stick pot. Cook 5 to 6 minutes
over medium heat. It will first thicken, turn white, and then golden
brown. Quickly pour into an 8 to 9 inch round pan that has been lined
with buttered foil. Cool 15 minutes, take out of foil and cool completely.

1 cup of peanuts, cashews or almonds
1/2 cup of butter
1/2 cup of sugar
1 teaspoon of light corn syrup
